Horse Preventing server joining.

I was playing happily on a LAN server with a friend, but then, as she went to ride a horse she left the server and whenever she tried to rejoin it would say she joined and left. And when she hosted one i tried to ride a horse but then the same thing happened to me. I believe it is a glitch with the horse. also when i try to join it says there is an internal server error.
