18w50a Bed Bug

I found a Desert Village next to a Fortress, so I slept in a bed and after the night was over. My character was standing on top of the bed but I could not cleave the bed. When I clicked "leave bed" It did not do anything. This issue has been reported in versions 1.8 and 1.9, and has been supposedly resolved.
