Going to the exit portal in End does nothing

The bug

When going to the exit portal in endit does nothing. Impossible to go back to overworld.

How to reproduce

1. Create a new world.
2. Set your render distance to 8.
3. Go to the end /setblock ~ ~ ~ end_portal or create an ender portal.
4. Place an ender crystal when the exit portal didn't generated
5. Go to the exit portal
   →  You don't teleported in overworld
