Launcher works but i can't see minecraft

I will start up the launcher, press play on 1.12.2 Forge  (you wouldn't allow me to select 1.12.2 above), log will show this:
 
I pull up the minecraft launcher, I press play on  1.12.2 forge, log says it's starting but I never see any evidence of this. It was working fine yesterday but for months before, no.
