Minecraft shows the loading screen, then crashes.

I open the Minecraft launcher, then click play; Minecraft opens, displays the Mojang loading screen and stays like that until I click on the window, which then tell me its not responding. When I close the window, I get the pop-up that 'Java platform SE Binary has stopped working', and I close the program. It closes the window, then opens the launcher and tells me that 'An unexpected error occurred and the game has crashed.

This started happening after I downloaded forge; I then uninstalled it, but that's not solved anything.

I've tried reinstalling Minecraft and reinstalling java, but neither work. 

I don't have Nvidia.

This affects all versions released.
