Game crashes when generating some of the new plains villages

The game crashes immediately when attempting to generate some of the new plains villages, while other villages generate just fine. The new-style villages that do generate seem to lack churches most of the time, but this may or may not be related to this bug. In every single case, once a crash happened, the world is corrupted and can't be opened without immediately crashing again.
