Farm Generates Well After Terrain/Village generates

Saw dirt blocks in the air so went to check them out.  As I got closer some others generated into existence.  Eventually a crop appeared, and then a second.  It was an odd generation of a village crop.  

 

It's generating very slowly.  Rest of village is fine.
