Cows jump up and down on carpet and pigs don't move

Placed carpet down and a cow walked onto it and started jumping. Spawned a pig on the carpet and it stood there for 10 min before I killed it.

(Cow on the left corner of the carpet in the linked picture is jumping other one just landed.)
