Mobs and Items Disappear after being Killed

I was playing on the new snapshot 18w46a and I was killed by the new mob Pillagers. When I respawned to retrieve my items it appeared they had all vanished as well as all mobs nearby. After restarting my world everything reappeared. However, I tested to see if it was a one time thing, but unfortunately it happened again and again.
