Ender dragon respawns by itself

The bug

After beating the ender dragon, I went into the end a few times and it was fine, but the most recent time I entered (so in other words, this doesn't happen every time), the ender dragon was flying around, alive again.

The end crystals on the pillars did not respawn, but the portal was deactivated again.
