Snow Golems suffocates in rain

Example:
I was trying to spawn some of the mobs to see if they were glitching or bugging, and then i spawned a Snow Golem, and it just died due to the rain. Then i turned of the rain and spawned another one, and it survived easily.

What I expected to happen was...:
When I spawned the Snow Golem it would stay there.

What actually happened was...:
It died instantly.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure its raining (time of day or biome dosn't matter).
2. Make a snow Golem.
3. Notice that it dies instantly.
