Enter End City but Gets Knocked Off by Ender Dragon Instead

Description: Already defeated the Ender Dragon and when I wanted to enter the end city suddenly an Ender Dragon appeared and send me flying at the moment I threw the Ender Pearl and knock me off the world.
This is so strange??? If this is a BUG please fix it, full body of enchanted diamond armor just disappeared like that I am very angry.
