Game freezes on startup

Ever since Minecraft updated to 1.13 as a whole, the game freezes on the Mojang logo. I've tried everything from disabling overlays, reinstalling, running as admin, etc. but the game just refuses to work no matter what. I've searched everywhere for ways to fix it, but nothing works. The game had worked perfectly fine beforehand, but after it updated, it completely broke.
