Illager Beast Reach

In the java version of Minecraft, snapshot 18w44a the Illager Beast can reach entities and the player from any distance. For example:He hit a me from 40 blocks away from him. I know you're going to fix this but could you please fix it earlier (in the next snapshot)? I would be very thankful.
