Cows and pigs drop cooked meat

I was in a wooded_mountains biome and a dark_forest biome and killed a few cow and a pig with a normal,unenchanted,just crafted iron sword. The cows dropped Steak and leather and the pig dropped cooked porkchop .

EDIT: I just tested it with a chicken and it dropped  cooked chicken.
