Tamed wolf/cat don't teleport to you after respawn

What actually happened was...:
Lost the pet after I died.

What I expected to happen was...:
Teleport to me, the same way is teleporting if I get far away.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tame a cat/wolf.
2. Set that tamed pet to follow you.
3. Walk 150-200 blocks from spawnpoint with your tamed pet.
4. Die near the pet

The pet will not teleport to you.
