Aggressive mobs have trouble spawning at night

Aggressive mobs have a hard time spawning at night and the passive mobs appear in few quantities during the day, well this is another matter, I have made conclusions that aggressive mobs have more chance to spawn in the caves, even at night, after a long search, I only found a creeper in a hole.
