Overwhelming Amount of Mobs

Hostile Mobs, cod, salmon, dolphins, and squid spawn uncontrollably. This causes a great amount of lag and reduced FPS to nearly 8 at some points, fortunately, this did not result in a crash. They also don't seem to despawn.
