Horses disappearing when armored

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to see an updated or even the old version of the saddle and horse armor on a horse.

What actually happened was...:
I put the horse armor on and the horse turned invisible. I can still ride but it's invisible.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tame Horse
2. Put horse armor (of any kind) on horse
3. Horse then turns invisible, until horse armor is removed.
