Odd Terrain/Chunk Generation

I created a new Minecraft world to check out the new snapshot and was greeted with some very odd terrain. I was expecting to see the standard Minecraft terrain, where biomes tend to flow naturally into one another. Instead, I was greeted with very sharp, unnatural looking terrain as if biomes were being cut off in certain areas. I have provided screenshots with examples below.

To replicate:

1. Open the game and create a new world with the seed; 9141872235089707585
2. Explore, there should be some "cut off" terrain immediately.
