Latest forge version crashes once placing a modded block on mineca.de

The game crashed whilst rendering block entity
Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot get property PropertyDirection{name=facing, clazz=class net.minecraft.util.EnumFacing, values=[north, south, west, east]} as it does not exist in BlockStateContainer{block=minecraft:air, properties=[]}

 

Seems to be the error. I just tested the block cdm:printer, Part of MrCrayfish's Device Mod for 1.12.2. If you cannot fix this than the creator of the mod/owner of forge has to fix it or the owner of the server has to allow modded blocks
