Crashes randomly within seconds of startup - only produced code is -1073741819

When attempting to run from the launcher, the game will either refuse to boot at all and automatically crash, or will boot to the menu and crash within about a minute. The only error code it seems to produce is -1073741819. Game has been reinstalled more than once to no change. Only three resource packs installed, removing them has no effect. No mods or saves. 

 

Logs seem to be cut short but show no errors or crashes.
