Breaking a Sign before the text editing menu appear causes a crash

When I was on a server, I placed a sign but, since I wasn't thinking and wanted to relocate the sign, I quickly broke it. The text editing menu hadn't yet appeared thus, when I game crashed, that seems to be the cause.
