MC-136955Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 has no sound
Contrary to what I had to claim in the interface, the version being dealt with is beta 1.7.3. Sounds will not play in Minecraft Beta 1.7.3. The launcher attempts to downloads audio resource files but receives an "error 403" when trying to obtain them. Occurs whenever the game is loaded. I appears that the files are no longer available for whatever reason, and attempting to mod Minecraft to restore the sounds appears to have no effect.
