Alt + Tab or Windows key freezes minecraft.

If I Alt + Tab or press the Windows Key to back out of Minecraft, when I get back in to Minecraft the screen will be frozen for about 5 seconds. This also happens when I start up the game. Nothing major, but it's only happened since I've upgraded to Windows 10. Is there any way I can prevent this without going out of fullscreen?
