Minecraft keeps crashing even after 2 reinstalls and old launcher

Well, Today I decided to start minecraft up and I was greeted with a error.

bvf: Unable to fit: minecraft:blocks/lava_flow - size: 32x32 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack?

 

I was really weirded out about this error message, So I took it to the internet, I did all of the advice and nothing has worked. I have no mods/texturepacks either! I've reinstalled 2 times already and no luck  So I decided to take it to here because It's really weird, I have all of the normal buggy settings, VBOS, etc. Anyways, I apologize if I waste your time by accident, I really just want to be able to play again .
