Servers able to bypass EULA blacklist

----------------------

Edit: How to reproduce this issue:

Step 1: Find a large and notorious server that violates the EULA

Step 2: Check if the server is blacklisted at https://ismyserverblocked.com

Step 3: If the server is blacklisted, proceed. Join the server in 1.9.4 or above (even 1.12), whatever version it supports. With the majority of notorious pay-to-win servers, you should be able to still join despite it being blacklisted.

A server to test this on:

timelesspvp.net (was blocked in 2016, made the news- announced it in their forums. Is still pay-to-win)

More can be found on planetminecraft.com and Minecraft-Server-List, in the Top Servers sections.

Old Description Below

Many servers may be bypassing the blacklist by redirecting domain addresses to another, different (and maybe new/not yet blacklisted) domain.

Servers blacklisted years ago for breaking the commercial use guidelines, even notorious ones, are still joinable in 1.9-1.13; despite the fact that they are still clearly selling benefits on their servers not allowed according to the commercial use guidelines.

According to BlockedServers Check (a website intended for checking if a Minecraft server is blocked), these servers are still blacklisted; but when you do a search for them on the website, it shows the domain as blocked, and several other addresses as not blocked- usually a .ddns.net address with a similar name to the server, or a random nonsensical domain (ex: a34ef50bda70ca.something.com). When I try direct-connecting to one of these presumed blacklisted servers, in the latest game log it says "Connecting to [the same .ddns.net or random nonsensical domain]", rather than the address I typed into the direct-connect box. It then ends up logging in to the server as if it wasn't blacklisted at all.

After doing some research I've found that there is a tutorial on a website for bypassing Minecraft's EULA blacklist- according to it, all servers need to do is have the SRV record for their domain redirect to another domain (see here: fucktheeula.com). Afterwards it then explains how to do this.

This issue really needs to be fixed on 1.9-1.12 as well, given how many servers are currently selling pay-to-win advantages.
