items disappearing from chest and furnace when logging off and in

I have created my world in 1.13 and recently updated it to 1.13.1. And I notice that my items tend to disappear from chest or furnace, it seems to happen when I put my items in chest/furnace and then log off in few minutes. So far, I did not lose items put in a chest at the beginning of my MC session.
