Iron Golem won't attack players

My Brother and sister were playing minecraft on a LAN server in Minecraft 1.13.1 and my brother wanted to go kill villagers (Not completely sure why), so he spawned a bunch and an Iron Golem for extra difficulty and when he went to go fight the villagers, the Iron Golem didn't attack and we made sure he was in survival too just in case. I don't know if anyone else has reported this glitch for 1.13.1 yet, but from when I searched it up, I mostly got results for other platforms, so I decided to write this report (and make an account) I apologize if this was already reported.
