Player arm animations are broken when using Conduit Power

The arm animations for the player when clicking in the air and when breaking blocks is broken when applying the Conduit Power with this command: /effect give <username> minecraft:conduit power 100000 100 true. The air clicking animation for the arm just goes down without showing its clicking and the block breaking animation for the arm isn't even used. This applies for all perspectives.
