Cannot Click Respawn/Title Screen Minecraft 1.8.8 to 1.12.2

When i get onto a server, a factions server that i was killed on, i cant click Respawn, Title screen or hit the esc key. I have to force quit minecraft, and this is legit annoying. I cant do anything, restarting plugins/server wont work.
