Crashing when going from launcher to the game

I can launch my launcher just fine but whenever I click on play, the launcher does go away and there does come a small screen but Minecraft itself doesnt open. It crashes right away, just saying 'Not Responding' and it doesnt matter for how long I wait it just never loads. 

Then when I close my Minecraft tab via task manager (because I cant even close it by clicking the X), it states: Game Crash - An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

It would be nice if you could look into this because all I have found on the internet on this issue is to disable the Discord overlay or completely delete it, which I have already done.
