KeepInventory turning off through dimensions

Whenever I am on my server, or in Singleplayer, and I do /gamerule KeepInventory True, and die in the overworld, it works just fine. Where as if I travel to say the end, or the Nether, after enabling it, I have to re enable it in both of those dimensions, as it bugs and disables it once travelling through dimensions.
