Low gravity bug at world height

How to reproduce

Build a setup as seen in ~~MC-135106~~ to reproduce.

Cause

I believe, no block checks taking place due to there being no blocks above 255 so the properties are not being set back. As soon as you go even a single block down the effect is reset.
