Server constantly crashes after teleporting to the world border

After teleporting to the world border after everyone else has logged off, the server crashed and disconnected me after a couple seconds of being near the border.  Upon trying to reconnect there was about 1-2 seconds of being able to make actions before disconnecting again.  All further attempts made to reconnect have led to the game crashing entirely.

Attempts to swap the server to a different map and then back to the original map have failed to fix the issue, along with reinstalling the game entirely.

I am aware there are other posts with this same issue but reading through them has failed to yield any ideas as to how this should be fixed.
