[MC-134975] Minecraft crashes ONLY past 1.9.x

Note: I am submitting this report for a friend since they are a bit of a tech klutz and it's a lot simpler for me to do it this way, if you need additional info it should be simple to give more

TL;DR Minecraft crashes only on version 1.10 or higher, most likely a java error, a simple fast fix would probably point us to the correct java version or fix for it.

Minecraft crashes after a few seconds ONLY on versions above 1.9, playing on 1.9 or any version below works fine.

If on 1.10+ Joining a singleplayer or multiplayer world will crash the game after a few seconds.

I assume it's most likely a java error, we reinstalled Minecraft, got the latest version of Java, and it's still the same errors as before.

I assume we installed the wrong version of java, attempting to search around I was unable to find someone who would crash Only 1.10 and above.

Sorry if this is a repeat didn't do an in-depth search due to time constraints, will update if I find a fix.
