Experience orbs from Bottle o' Enchanting causes ticking world entity crash

Using Bottles o' enchanting for experience for my mending tools causes the game to crash sometimes. Seems to happen when the experience is collected, though can't fully tell. Doesn't happen every time, but quite often.
