Unable to tame ocelots

It seems impossible to tame ocelots. They don't seem to be attracted by the raw fish (might be only my impression). But feeding them a fish will make them get the hearts, like if they were in "love mode" but doesn't tame them. While they are having the hearts, one cannot feed them another fish.
