Skin Wont Show, Just Alex Skin.

So I just downloaded minecraft, and I didnt like the Alex skin so i decided to change it. So when I got to minecraft.net, i changed my skin and uploaded it. Little did i know that it will work. So when i went in to game..... IT SHOWED ALEX SKIN. And i was mad. So then i tried the new launcher skin editor but noooo. It didnt work either. sigh. So please fix this please.
