Minecraft Java will not load

Game will not load from splash screen. It does not respond and launch screen says game crashed with no error codes or crash report. Deleted and re-installed game 2 times and cycled power on my laptop. Game worked perfectly yesterday and I did not make any changes prior to today's issues. Game is vanilla and installed on two other PCs in the house (my kids and I were playing on LAN).
