Game crashes on all updates past 1.11

The game was working on 1.12 before 1.13 was released. Once 1.13 was released, I tried to use it. I could not join a multiplayer, Realm or a single player server without it crashing. As soon as it tried to load terrain I would be sent back to the launcher, with a "sorry something unexpected happened" error. Its the exact same with 1.12 even though it worked before the 1.13 update. Now I can only use 1.11. Please help!
