Screen goes black when entering fullscreen while loading the world in 1.13

While creating a new world, I exited fullscreen mode and went back into it after. When I pressed F11 my screen was just black. So far there's no way for me to fix it without exiting the game. I opened a world and joined in windowed mode, I then went into fullscreen and the screen went black once again. It goes black when: a) I exit and then enter fullscreen. b) when i enter fullscreen in a world from windowed. Screenshots still take a picture of the game.
