Maps in item frames are going dark when a some part is out of vision

When looking on a map in well lighted conditions, the map gets dark when looking on it from different angles. 

I noticed that it might be caused by having one part of map out of your vision, however in a video you can see that it's not just a problem with unvisible part of map.
