boat bug on log in in SMP

When a person sits in a boat which is on land and logs out the next time he/she logs back in the client glitches into the floor, while on the server side he appears normally sitting in a boat.
The only way for him/her to get out of the boat is for an other player to break the boat which he/she is sitting in.
