Server list says server is 1.12 but actual server is on prerelease 7

My game on the same snapshot version that this server is on (1.13 prerelease 7). For me, it says the server is on 1.12 with a MOTD still from that previous version. Other people have been able to connect to the server with 1.13 prerelease 7. I have tried flushing DNS but it still says the server is on 1.12 on my server list.
