scoreboard.dat gets wiped occasionally on logout

I have had it in the past where when the game crashes, my scoreboard.dat gets wiped. All objectives just gone. This was weird, because everything else would save just fine. It was always just the scoreboard that would disappear. Now, however, I just had all of my objectives disappear when quitting my world normally, using the "Save and Quit to Title" button in the escape menu and hitting "Quit Game" afterwards on the main menu. As I usually open my world multiple times a day (For years on end), this seems to be quite a rare problem, and I don't think I did anything differently this time, so I have no clue how to reproduce it either.
