Witches wont spawn in witch hut

A witch hut wont spawn witches after the first witch, iv tried it in multiple versions and found out that it doesnt work in pre5 and 6 and it does work in 12.2. Pleas fix this bug, beacuse this way witch farms wont work anymore.
