End crystals disappear when updating to 1.13-pre5

The bug

When upgrading a world to 1.13-pre5, End crystals disappear.

To reproduce

1. Create a world in 1.12.2
2. Place an end crystal
3. Close the world and the game
4. Open the world in 1.13-pre5
5. Notice that the end crystal is gone
