Item Map does not show already rendered areas.

Upon right clicking with the item Empty Map, the Map changes over, but the map is filled. However, despite already filling in the whole area of the map, the map itself only shows a few things, but most of the map field is grey despite the fact I am in a desert. I have attached photos showing this.
