Blocks all go white

Ever since the 1.5 update Minecraft has started the weirdest glitch as seen in the picture. It got worse after 1.5.1 which I thought would fix it. I love this game and don't want to have to stop playing, but its getting to the point where its happening within a five minute period repeatedly and it makes it to hard to play the game
